On this Day: In 1877, the infamous Martin Cash died, aged 69. Upon arrival at Port Arthur in 1842. he would go on to escape with two others, and become known as Cash & Co, the gentleman bushrangers. He is quite possible the only Australian bushranger to have died of natural causes and a free man.
