Port Arthur Entry

Port Arthur is Australia’s largest and most intact convict settlement, forming a key part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Australian Convict Sites. Every site entry ticket to Port Arthur Historic Site is valid for two consecutive days allowing you plenty of time explore and enjoy Port Arthur’s many sites, tours and activities. Pricing starts at:

Adult: $53
Children: $26
Concession: $41

Ticket inclusions

Your ticket includes:

• entry to the Port Arthur site.
• complimentary guide talks throughout the site at the Penitentiary, Commandant’s House, Convict Church, Separate Prison and more.
• a complimentary Harbour Cruise.
• a self-guided audio experience.
• access to more than 30 historic buildings, ruins, restored houses, heritage gardens and walking trails.

A courtesy shuttle service is available for people with restricted mobility (available between 10:30am and 3:30pm each day, with an extended service offered during summer).

In purchasing tickets to visit our site you are contributing to the ongoing conservation, interpretation and development of Port Arthur, the Coal Mines and the Cascades Female Factory Historic Sites.

Ticket of Leave

Upgrade your visit with a Ticket of Leave 2-year pass.  Ticket of Leave 2-year passes can be added to your purchase at the ticketing counter when you arrive and will be valid for free entry to the Port Arthur Historic Site and the Cascades Female Factory as many times as you like for two years.
