1830 Restaurant & Bar

1830 Restaurant & Bar is reopening Friday 29 November 2024.

With sweeping views of the Penitentiary, gardens and grounds, 1830 Restaurant & Bar is a perfect place to enjoy a long, relaxed meal with friends. Our menu uses fresh seasonal produce sourced from local growers and producers, and you can choose your favourite from our range of fine Tasmanian wines, craft beers, whiskies and spirits.

Located  in former Asylum and Town Hall, adjacent to our Separate prison a perfect place to sit and relax during your visit
