Stakeholders and members of the public are invited to attend public information sessions on the convict serial nomination to the World Heritage List.
The Australian Department of Environment and Water Resources and the State Department of Tourism, Arts and the Environment will be conducting public information sessions on the World Heritage nomination process. The timetable for these information sessions is as follows:
Port Arthur Historic Site and the Coal Mines Historic Site public information sessions will be held on Monday 23 April 2007 at 11am, at the Saltwater River Hall and 5.30pm, at the Port Arthur Historic Site.
Cascades Female Factory public information session will be held on Friday 27 April 2007, at 5.30pm at Tourism Tasmania 22 Elizabeth Street, Level 2.
Darlington Probation Station, Maria Island public information session will be held on Tuesday 24 April 2007 at 7pm, at the Triabunna Council Chambers.
Brickendon-Woolmers Properties public information session will be held on Thursday 26 April 2007 at 6.30pm, at Northern Midlands Council Chambers, Longford.
