TV’s Ghost Hunters visit Port Arthur

August 18, 2009

The team from US cable TV series Ghost Hunters International recently spent a week at the Port Arthur Historic Site, doing what they do best – hunting ghosts.

After nearly a week of probing their way around the Historic Site – believed by some to be one of the most haunted places in Australia – the team was tight-lipped about their findings. However presenters Dustin Pari and Robb Demarest told staff they felt that the Port Arthur episode would be one of their best ever.

The program will be shown to a world-wide audience via the Discovery Channel. The Port Arthur episode will be part of a new series that will screen in the US from next year, with other countries to follow.

In appreciation for the access to the Historic Site provided to them, the Ghost Hunters International team also made a contribution to Port Arthur’s Conservation Fund.
