Tasmania Shines at Qantas Australian Tourism Awards

Port Arthur Historic Site is delighted to be among eight of Tasmania’s leading tourism experiences to be placed in the top three of their categories at the Qantas National Tourism Awards. Port Arthur Historic Site was awarded a bronze in the Heritage and Cultural Tourism.

Pennicott Wilderness Journeys were awarded gold for Ecotourism and Excellence in Sustainable Tourism and the Spirit of Tasmania took out gold for Major Tour and/or Transport Operators. Silvers were awarded to Saffire Freycinet in the Luxury Accommodation category and Bruny Island Cruises for Tourist Attraction. The Old Woolstore Apartments received a bronze for the Business Tourism category. Hearty congratulations to each of these businesses on their success.

The Australian Tourism Awards recognise and reward businesses who demonstrate excellence in their businesses, and the products and experiences they deliver.
