Port Arthur honoured at Tasmanian Tourism Awards

The Port Arthur a Historic Site has been named Tasmania’s best  Major Tourism Attraction for the fourth consecutive year.

The announcement was made at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards d in Hobart last Friday.

The World Heritage listed site was also named Tasmania’s best Cultural and Heritage tourism attraction for the third year in succession.

The Port Arthur Historic Site is in the Tasmanian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame, which  recognises those businesses who have achieved outstanding success at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards by winning the same category for three consecutive years – http://www.tict.com.au/hall-of-fame

Tasmanian winners go on to represent the State at the National Tourism Awards to be held in Adelaide on April 10 2015.
