The Port Arthur Historic Site and the Coal Mines Historic Site are individually entered on the National Heritage List (NHL) and the Tasmanian Heritage Register (THR). Both Historic Sites are also included in the Australian Convict Sites World Heritage Nomination. Each of these listings has its own set of statements about the heritage values of the sites.
