Visitor Information and Services

Our Visitor Information Desk is located in the Visitor Centre.

Our staff are on hand to assist you with local and state-wide travel information, maps, accommodation and activity bookings and general enquiries.

Don't hesitate to ask our friendly staff about about any of these services, or for any assistance you may require during your visit.

Clean, modern toilet facilities are available throughout the Port Arthur Historic Site, including wheelchair-accessible facilities.

Public pay phones are available at the Visitor Centre.

An automatic teller machine (ATM) is located in the Visitor Centre. EFTPOS, including cash out facility, is also available.

The Port Arthur Historic Site accepts foreign currency, travellers’ cheques and all major credit cards. Please enquire at our Visitor Service Desk.
