Despite some drizzle, it’s been a bumper day here at Port Arthur.
The Diamond Princess stopped by, and many of her 2700 passengers came ashore to explore our convict heritage & enjoy tours around the local region. These were in addition to many more land-based visitors here as well.

The new cruise tender jetty did not miss a beat, with tenders utilising both sides of the pontoon simultaneously to facilitate speedy transfers from ship to shore and back for passengers.

With around 2700 passengers and 1100 crew, Diamond Princess' visit at Port Arthur made for a busy day at the Historic Site
